You probably have everything that you intend to do today all “figured out” ….minute by minute….But!!! Are you certain that your plans will go through???…All of us know that only God knows all that will happen today…And because he knows; that is why he tells us to let him know our “needs”….By letting him know our needs; (though he already knows)…we give him an opportunity to “align them” with his will for our lives…He assures us that he will help us and that he will be with us …He says…
Genesis 28:15a… Remember, I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go…
Isaiah 26:3 …With perfect peace you will protect those whose minds cannot be changed, because they trust you….
Isaiah 41:10…Don’t be afraid, for I am with you….Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God…I will strengthen you and help you…I will hold you up with my victorious right hand….
These are “common” verses and we know them ….We have perhaps memorized them …They are assurances that God has given us for our daily “affirmations.”….They are meant to shield you from fear that comes from uncertainty….doubt and unbelieve….These three lead to worry and discouragement which makes one to lose their peace of heart and mind….
This is a good moment if you haven’t already …to take time and present your “plans” for today to God and ask him to help you …. Don’t forget to say to him …..”your will be done.”…. After all; you are not asking him to “approve” what you want…You are asking him to help you to “choose” right …You are asking him to protect you…You asking him for “direction” ….the right path….
Finally let me remind you, for those of us who “worship” on Sundays that; as much you have all your “plans” for today, set to “roll” …minute by minute..today is not your day…it is God’s day!!

Exodus 20:10…But the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the LORD your God…
Dedicate – to give your time, energy, or attention completely to a specific goal, person, or purpose….
As for today; it is a day dedicated to God….
