Faithful and dependable God

Can you believe it!!! We have “entered” the nineth month…..Today is a day of great celebration…. Why??? God in his mercy, has given us “access” and a victorious “entry” …into the nineth month…. Unfortunately;…many never made it though they were there at the beginning of eighth month as we celebrated…
This tells us that no one knows about tomorrow…Only God knows….

However; this is not a reason for us to “feel” helpless and hopeless…Our hope and trust is in the LORD….

Have you “commanded” your day and made declarations on what you will do and not do according to scripture!!! Proverbs 2:5-6…. Philippians 4:6-7….Have you understood why it is important not to copy the behavior and the customs of this world!!! Have you surrendered your “heart”(mind, emotions, will) to God so that he may lead and guide you???

This is where to begin in this new month…..We begin by repentance….We have sinned….We have done what we should not have done….and failed to do what was expected of us…Sometimes; we have “hidden” our sins and thought no one knows what we have done…LORD ….forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness….

Psalm 51:1,2,4,7,9,10,11,12 Have mercy on me , O God, because of your unfailing love…Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins…Wash me clean from my guilt…Purify me from my sin… Against you, and you alone, have I sinned; I have done what is evil in your sight…You will be proved right in what you say, and your judgement against me is just…Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow…Don’t keep looking at my sins….Remove the stain of my guilt… Create in me a clean heart, O God…Renew a loyal spirit within me….Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me…Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you…

Psalm 18:1-2…I love you, LORD; you are my strength…The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection….He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety….

You have “commanded your day” with scripture…You have repented …You have asked the LORD to restore the “fellowship” with him…Your sins are forgiven….

Take time to pray and thank him for his goodness and mercy…His faithfulness; for he is dependable….Let him know that you “can’t” make it without him…Arise and Shine!!!!
