Do you have peace of heart and mind today???…Did you know that Peace is a gift!!!….Did you also know that you can lose it and therefore it requires that you “guard it.”!!!!
Note that Peace is equally important inorder to “keep” faith and hope alive…Peace and Calmness “go hand in hand.”
When your adversary Satan is moving up and down looking for someone to attack(1 Peter 5:8); he is careful and able to “detect” any “lack” of peace in your speech or behavior….And when he does; he is quick to “accelerate” it by “attacking” your mind with discouragement…If he succeeds; you lose the “peace of mind and heart”….
John 14:27…Jesus said….”I am leaving you with a gift….peace of mind and heart…And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give…So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
The “effect”….of the “peace of mind and heart” is well captured in Philippians 4:7… However; this gift is only available to those who “belong” to Christ Jesus…It is written….
Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand…And this peace will control the way you think and feel…
When your life is surrendered to Jesus Christ and you declare him your LORD and Savior; he blesses you with peace….
Peace – state of harmony, quiet, and freedom from war, violence, or mental stress…
Blessing – an invocation of divine favor, a stroke of good fortune, or official approval for an action..
The peace of God is divine favor…When you have it; it controls the way you think and feel… Therefore; in times of trouble you are calm (your emotions are contained)…you are able to “think through” a matter …..wait patiently without “reacting” …. Your response brings success or the “right” approach or solution….
“Spiritually speaking “…your “heart” consists of your mind, your emotions and your will…
Proverbs 4:23…Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life…
This too is making your life meaningful!!!!
