On this Easter Monday be reminded that when God “look” at us ALL….He sees his PEOPLE….. ONE PEOPLE…. Forget about everything that divide us….We are his creation…..When a baby is born; he or she is like a new diary…clean and neat….The parents of the new born determines what to “write” in the “Diary.” …At that moment the life of the baby is totally dependant on the parents….Whatever they decide to “write” in the “diary” the baby has no say (to agree or disagree)….. However; what they “write” in the “diary” affects the baby in a tremendous way….What is “written” in the “Diary” shapes the future of the baby….
When a baby is born.. “like a blank diary” ….the baby doesn’t know whether they are white or black …they don’t have a language and therefore the parents or the care givers determines the language…They are not even aware of their nationality….or religion…
Unfortunately; because of our selfish and sinful nature; what God created for diversity and prosperity….different nations… different languages…. different skin colours and tone; etc… the enemy turned it to become what divides us….
He brought about the “world view” and perceptions…This brought about even greater divisions as to who and what is better….Add religion to it; and the divisions gets worse…. Within the different religions; Sects and Cults are formed….
However; within these complexes which were there before and still “follow” us today; it is for this reason that Jesus came …He died and rose again to reconcile us back to God as one people..By his death; he nullified all those “man-made” ideas, replacing them with the truth that is only found in the bible ….He gave us a new “blank” page by forgiving us all our sins and healing all our sicknesses and diseases (including emotional wounds)…He redeemed us by his blood…By his death and resurrection; the mankind was given a new lease of life…the death penalty was lifted…
John 3:16…For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life …
1 Peter 1:3…Praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ …God is so good, and by raising Jesus from death, he has given us new life and a hope that lives on…
With all that said; it is your choice to “accept” this free gift….It is also your responsibility to tell others about this ‘free gift” of salvation….The “ticket” that gives you unlimited access to the Kingdom of God….and the “power” to called a son/daughter of the most high God…..
