As you continue to pray for everyone….those in authority and also your enemies; have you noticed the peace of heart and mind that “convinces” you that…. though the people and the situations you are praying for have not changed; you are hopeful for a better tomorrow!!!! God is able to turn the “hearts” of people around…He is able to “change” everything…Let us continue to trust him…
One of the “hardest” prayer to make is praying for your enemies and those who mistreats you….
Remember you are praying for God to help them and therefore you are praying the prayer for mercy…you are praying that the LORD may forgive them for all the “wrong doings”… You are praying for their transformation and every good thing..
“give thanks for them”….who!!! Your enemies and those who mistreats you… However; do you realize the categories of these people might not be “personal enemies” but they are your enemies because what they do cause problems and interfere with other people’s progress too!!!
Let us consider this:
Matthew 5:44,45,46a,47a….But I tell you to love your enemies and pray for everyone who mistreats you…. Then you will be acting like your Father in heaven…He makes the sun rise on both good and bad people… And he sends rain for the ones who do right and for the ones who do wrong….If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that??? If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else….
Lastly pray for the enemies that “present” themselves to you as “friends”…They are jealous and resentful but when they are with you they “say” all the “right” things…
